Meet the Midwife

Hello my name is Charlotte Gallagher, BSc, a mum of three young children and a midwife for 11 years.  Women want to feel empowered throughout their pregnancy and I want to be able to facilitate this. Whilst the interest for complementary therapies was sparked whilst training to be a midwife, it wasn’t till having my second child and using complementary therapies in my own pregnancies, did I decide to pursue my dream. In 2020 I enrolled with Expectancy Ltd to train under Dr. Denise Tiran, leading educator in complementary therapies for midwifery practice. I completed my Diploma in Midwifery Complementary therapies in 2021 and was awarded ‘highest achieving student of the year 2021’. Now I have built Blooming Bump so that I can use my new skills to provide holistic maternity care to women during their pregnancy and postnatal period. I want every one to leave after their treatment feeling relaxed and empowered about their pregnancy.
