Antenatal Education

I believe that knowledge is power! Knowing about labour and birth is a great start on your journey to parent hood. However, have you considered what you need to know once the baby has arrived, not only to care for baby but to also consider the support network around you. This is now known as planning for the fourth trimester.

It is important to know everything from how to safely feed your baby, general care, safe sleep and had to navigate the new tolls of parent hood you may experience.

For a group session I teach a antenatal education course for Bump and Baby club in Shrewsbury. This is a course of five classes, that covers everything from labour to baby care, feeding to first aid. The aim of this course is to develop a support network for parents once baby has arrived. Visit bump and baby club to find out more.

Whilst group classes are perfect for some mothers and partners, they can be very daunting for others.

This is why I also offer private sessions. By offering private sessions this allows each one to be tailored to you and your needs.

These can be for you and your birthing partner(s), you may want to include grandparents, or if you have friends due at the same time a private group session.

These can be booked as a course or hourly sessions.

Antenatal education is not just for first time parents, recommendations change over time and a refresh is needed.

Sessions can be online or face to face.

Why not pair your face to face session with a treatment too.

£30 for 1 hour
